Ron Nakada, Senior Software Engineer at Blizzard Entertainment, was unfortunately diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer earlier this year. Thankfully, to help his battle with the disease, pledges to his YouCaring campaign have skyrocketed over the festive period.

Aiming to crowdfun $25,000 by late January, the donation amount has already hit $21,000 with more than 29 days left. The money will help Ron and his family cope with the financial stress of a prolonged battle against the cancer, as well as his hopeful recovery.
