BioWare “Doesn’t Regret” Shift To Frostbite 3 Over Unreal Engine

The future development of BioWare’s titles has forever changed due to their move from the Unreal Engine to DICE’s, Frosbite 3 engine. EA has provided a very potent rendering engine for it’s studios to use which is equal in power to CryEngine and Unreal Engine. Yesterday on Twitter, Aaryn Flynn, general manager at BioWare Edmonton and Montreal gave his thoughts on this transition.

 

We have seen Frostbite 3 at work on Battlefield 4, now we just have to salivate and wait for how the next Mass Effect title will be altered by this new engine. What do you think we will see BioWare do with the Frostbite 3 engine? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
