Related Designs, the German developers behind the Anno strategy series, have been bought by Ubisoft.
Ubisoft acquired the remaining 70% of the company from their previous 30% share. While the amount that changed hands for this to happen is a mystery, it is sure to be a large amount.
Ubisoft has handled publishing for the company for the last 6 years and have teamed up with Ubisoft’s own Blue Byte studios on many of their previous titles. Sounds like it is a match made in heaven.
