Nintendo have today released the official launch trailer for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. With its release this week, the trailer shows off both the game and also some details of the features that will be available.

Players will be able to fight monsters anywhere they go on the Nintendo 3DS, but then carry on the fight with the very same save by transferring it onto the Wii U edition of the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. You will also be able to play online multiplayer on the Wii U, and have local multiplayer on the Nintendo 3DS as well as cross platform Multiplayer for Wii U and 3DS.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is set to be one of the biggest and expansive games in the series to date. It is due out today in North America and on the Friday in Europe.
